The Hawaiʻi Coalition for Immigrant Rights (HCIR) is a statewide coalition of immigrant-led and immigrant-serving organizations, advocates, workers, students, and faith leaders working together to advance justice and inclusion for immigrant and migrant communities across Hawaiʻi. Rooted in community and guided by lived experience, HCIR builds collective power through policy advocacy, education, and coalition organizing to protect rights, shape systems, and empower communities.
Refugee Immigration Law Clinic @ the University of Hawai'i Foundation
The Refugee & Immigration Law Clinic is committed to training students to be excellent practitioners of immigration law and to be zealous advocates for those needing protection from persecution and violence. They pledge to steadfastly protect and promote the inherent dignity of the clients they serve and to perpetuate the culture of inclusion here in Hawaii. They are dedicated to the transformative work required to fulfill the promise of the University of Hawaii motto, “Above all nations is humanity.”
World Without Exploitation

World Without Exploitation is a U.S.-based national coalition working to end human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation by uniting survivors, advocates, service providers, artists, activists, and allied organizations around a shared vision where no one is bought, sold, or exploited. Founded in 2016, the movement centers survivor leadership to confront the root causes of exploitation, challenge cultural norms that tolerate abuse, and push for systemic change through public education, policy advocacy, and cultural engagement.

Mālama Kula
Mālama Kula is an action-oriented, results-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, formed to provide disaster relief in response to the Kula Fire, that also addresses current challenges facing the Kula community.
Their mission is to foster community, provide service and support, safeguard residents against natural disaster, and empower, educate, inform, and nurture the town and residents of Kula.
Maui Medic Healers Hui
In sisterhood with the Mauna Medic Healers Hui, the Maui Medic Healers Hui mobilized immediately in response to the devastating Lahaina fires in August 2023. They are a Kānaka Maoli-led team that provides grassroots, community-driven services and empowers the people. They offer a variety of services as they strive to create spaces for healing in times of struggle, disaster, and trauma.
